Name of Your Blessing: House Protection Blessing

Reason For Your Blessing: To protect and bless my home

Items needed For the Blessing: (2) of each candle in Blue (for physical protection and hope), white (purity and happiness) and silver (remove negativity and encourage stability) (1) Large Red candle (for the element of fire, you can carve symbols into this if you wish.) Cedar incense (for Purification and protection, spiritual growth and prosperity). Bowl of water (for purification).

Preparation: Find a suitable place (preferably a quiet one) to set everything up. Lay out your items in the following in a circle type pattern.

White Candle	Bowl of water	White Candle

 

Your Blessing:

After you have everything set up light your incense and your red candle and then pass the red candle above the incense while saying:

Wise Goddess bless this fire

May its protection never tire

May it be a light in the dark

When things go gray and the need is dire

Then light the blue candles and say:

Loving Goddess cloaked in grace

With your love purify this space

Bring with you tolerance and hope

Please purify my most sacred place

Then light your silver candles and say:

Uplifting Goddess shine your light

Dispel dark energy with your might

Replace instead with hope and beauty

May your blessings reach full height

Light your white candles and say:

Pure Goddess share your smile

Come and sit and stay awhile

May we share together bright beginnings

And leave behind only sadness and trial

Take a moment to visualize everything positive that you want for your house and imagine a great white light surrounding and protecting your house and its inhabitants. Then take the bowl of water and sprinkle it outside your front door and say:

Water of hope pure as rain

Protect this house and remove the stain

Of negative energy and all sadness

Distinguish hardships and all pain

Let the candles and incense burn down then bury the remains in the yard.

Samhain, and Midsummer

I don't have a favorite one, so far I enjoy working with them all.

inside lately cause it freezing out, but when its warm I like to do my workings outside

8. do you try to draw in more than just god{dess}s.. Nope. Just the God/dess

not really, Just use my athame and picture fire as my protecting circle

10. do you have special way to close the circle?:
Not really. I just take up the energy light back into my tool walking backwards, and grounding.

Strange that I would get Osiris, after all he is my patron God....guess now I know why.

I created a ritual for my magickal space and thought I would share. Its simple but I am quite proud of it :)

Items Needed:

 Two Yellow Candles
 A piece of Felt
 White Glue
 Yellow Glitter
 Your favorite incense
 Blue Adventurine Stone (Increases visionary powers and perceptions. Stimulates creativity and expression)
 Garnet Stone (Strong help to balance your energy system, uplift your attitude. Aids in patience, persistence and purification. Increases creative energy)
 Green Quartz (Stimulates creativity)
 Kyanite Stone (Strengthens throat chakra. Enhances creative expression, communication, truth, loyalty, reliability, serenity)

Note: You may substitute the stones with anything you have that is appropriate.

Set up:

Light your incense and place it in the middle (towards the top) of your working space. Place the yellow candles about 12 inches apart (light them as well at this time) on your working surface (in the center below your incense.) Now put your piece of felt in between them. Take your white glue and draw a big (as big as the piece of felt you are using) a Kenaz Rune symbol on the piece of felt. Then sprinkle the yellow glitter until the glue symbol is completely covered.

Ritual:

Take the Blue Adventurine and lift it over the incense then pass it over each of the two candles and say:

With this flame, I burn into you, Vision to express creativity.

Then place the stone on the top left corner of your felt piece.

Take the Garnet Stone and life it over the incense and pass it over each of the two candles and say:

With this flame, I burn into you, balance, patience and persistence.

Then place the stone on the top right corner of your felt piece.

Take the green Quartz Stone and lift it over the incense and pass it over each of the two candles and say:

With this flame, I burn into you, creativity at its height.

Then place the stone on the bottom left of your felt piece.

Take the Kyanite Stone and lift it over the incense and pass it over each of the two candles and say:

With this flame, I burn into you, communication to let your creativity shine.

Then place the stone at the bottom right of your felt piece.

Call the muses to aid you in your project:

Mighty muses, grant me expression

Aid my creativity and vision

Let my heart be uplifted

So that I may finish my workings

With speed and grace

With full expression and persistence

Take your glue and pit some on the back of your Blue Adventurine stone and while you are placing it back onto the felt say:

With this glue, I bind your attributes to aid me in my workings.

Repeat this for the last 3 stones.

Say to the muses:

Gifted Muses, grant me patience

Guide my workings from this day on

Lift my heart and bestow persistence

Place your creativity into my mind

Thank the muses for their help and place your project wherever you see fit.
